And I realize that none of us are going to get everything that we want. That's being an adult.
An effective coalition also requires that all of us get some of what we want, and "no republicans in the white house" doesn't count.
Yes, I'm guilty of selfishness in wanting the party to focus more on issues that I care about, and making excuses for the party on issues that aren't particularly personal to me.
So are you.
The difference is, I'm not being a hypocrite about it.
